n 2008 we published our monograph The ABC of De Designpolitie. Probably the hardest choice a graphic designer has to make when making a book about his own work concerns the structure. We didn’t bother with that too much and took the simplest, the most banal, grid on Earth: the ABC.
However, within this grid we gave ourselves complete freedom to do what we wanted. So it is a book full of experiments, essays, inventions, ideas, failures, cases, jokes, and 575 logos for De Designpolitie.
